mary poppins // Fendig summer theatre for children 2015

Being the assistant director, I helped teach just that. Working with Pat Collins, I learned a lot about technical aspects of the production. I got to expand even more on skills that I learned previously as well as work with lots of young children!

Mary Poppins was so great to be a part of, because of the variety of skills I learned in the technical aspect of theatre. I learned so much about working with children, time management, public relations, volunteer outreach, and community.
Being able to provide a cool opportunity like learning to fly was so unique! In a small, rural town getting an experience like this is unlikely. ZFX Flying effects got to come in and train a small group of people how to operate the flight equipment used in the show. They also trained our two actors how to fly on stage.
